who is this visa for?
This is a permanent visa for persons that have held the subclass 491 or 494 visas for a minimum period of 3 years.
Permanent Skilled Regional (Subclass 191) Visa
The Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional) (Subclass 191) visa was introduced on the 16th of November, 2019.
To satisfy the requirements for this visa, applicants must:
- 1. Hold a regional provisional (subclass 491 or 494) visa when they apply for the Subclass 191 visa and have held that visa for at least three years;
- 2. Have resided in a designated regional area for a minimum period of three years;
- 3. Have earned the minimum taxable income threshold for at least three years; and
- 4. Have complied with all other conditions applicable to the Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa.
